The more complicated island hopping trips will have an itinerary to follow. Ferries are used wherever practical so you can start winding down before you even get there. Western coasts are preferred for their sunsets. You also get the bonus of exploring the exciting towns you will be transiting through to get there.

• The larger islands and some multi island trips are often road trips making it a lot easier to get around to out of the way sights and attractions.
